I recently started my show, Hubie Sounds, on NSB Radio and I’m pleased to say it’s been going well so far
However, my jingles are shit. I need new jingles. I’ve started working on new ones, but what I need from you is this…
Firstly I need recordings of you, the interweb massive, saying the following sound bites…
1. “Hubie Sounds on NSB Radio”
2. “www.nsbradio.co.uk”
And secondly, I need a new slogan! I’m appealing to you all to conjure up a new slogan for Hubie Sounds.
So, if you’d like to help me out and, more importantly, be immortalised on worldwide radio, here’s what you need to do…
Record yourself, your friends, your dog, whatever, saying the above soundbites and send them to me. You can sing them, rap them, shout them, burp them, whatever you like, as long as the recordings are clean (as little background noise as possible) and high quality (preferably wav/aiff or 320k mp3).
Then send them to me via email. My email addy can be found on this website’s contact page
Ideally, I need them done as soon as possible, but if you could send them to me before the new year that would be great
If you’re unfamiliar with my show, or you need some inspiration, feel free to check out my previous shows, as well as the rest of the NSB Radio shows, in the NSB Radio archives HERE
I hope some of you can help me out, so thanks in advance to those of you who do. I look forward to hearing your contributions

The second installment of Hubie Sounds on NSB Radio airs this Tuesday night and we’ve got a cracking show in store for you, including brand new tuna by the likes of Plump DJs, Elite Force, Greg Wilson, Peo de Pitte and many more!
As well as the usual selection of eclectic beats and wobbly basslines, we’ll be presenting another new feature entitled ‘Hubie Loves… Nufunk’, where we will throw together a collection of funky gems that we’re sure will get your backsides wiggling this Tuesday night!
So we hope you can tune in to Hubie Sounds this Tuesday 24th November @ 9pm UK time, live and direct on www.nsbradio.co.uk
Hey everyone. Just letting you know that there has been a slight reshuffle of the NSB Radio schedule. Instead of being on air every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, Hubie Sounds has been switched to every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
So that means Hubie Sounds won’t be on air tomorrow night, but instead will next be airing a week on Tuesday (24th November). We’ll still be on at 9pm UK time though
Mikey Mic is the Stockholm sensation storming Hype Machine with his Rolling Stone-acclaimed remixes and no-nonsense attitude to big room electro remixes.
First it was his remake of Jay-Z (feat. Alicia Keys) – Empire State of Mind, which stormed the Hype Machine charts and gathered him blog love from across the world. Then he launched his brand new website – www.mikeymic.com with a great video explaining what he’s all about…
And now he’s taking on hiphop legend Pharoahe Monch with a Bloody Beetroots-esque rework which is sure to slay some dancefloors. Check them out here…

Pink A Pads are a duo of two young Italian producers, Andrea Barbara and Manuel Goletto. Originally breaks and drum & bass producers, the duo have had releases out previously on Dirty Drop, VIM and Hypotron. They’re now with Ground Level.
Here we have a DJ mix for you to download to celebrate the release of their new EP! You can also stream the new EP below, but make sure after you’ve finished listening you head straight over to Beatport to buy the EP so you can listen to and play it whenever and wherever you like!
In July last year, their friend and fellow countryman Gigi Barocco brought them to the attention of their label Ground Level, and over the last year the duo have cultivated their sound to encompass hip house, fidget and electro grooves.
Italian scratching master Doc Trashz is also on remix duty for this EP, ripping Il Moralista to pieces and building it up into a nasty baltimore tune, not for the faint hearted!
1) Pink a pad’s – Il Farabutto
2) Junkie Xl – Booming right at you
3) Pink a pad’s vs Doc Trashz – Lo Scocciatore
4) Mememe – John (promo)
5) Mr.Oizo – Gay dentist
6) Titan – Bruxism groove – HMA rmx
7) Arabesque – In a bottle – Pink a pad’s rmx
Hey y’all. I’ve been a bit slack of late about blogging all the wicked promos that have been landing in my inbox. So to get back in the groove, here’s one that simply can’t be ignored! Read on for all the info…
Quick one for you here from LA beatmashers Breakdown – remixing Bouncecamp (the b-more Berliner) with a funky twist.

And that’s not all – they have a big summer coming up with releases on Universal/Motown, One Love (Sony) Australia, Marine Parade, PBR, Simma, Bombsquad and more.
