HUBIE SOUNDS 017 rescheduled!

Hey everyone

Many apologies for the relative silence here in Hubie Sounds land of late. And also many apologies for the no show on the 24th of August. Those pesky gremlins were back with a vengeance and decided to throw a rave of mischief in my broadcast computer.

Anyway, the critters have now been evicted and their soundsystem and various dubious recreational substances confiscated, so Hubie Sounds will be back in action this Tuesday night. And for those of you who had hoped to enter the Hybrid competition last time around, you will have your chance to enter on this show tomorrow night. Just in case you missed the details about the competition, you can find it all here

HUBIE SOUNDS on air this tuesday

Hubie Sounds is back on air this Tuesday night and we’ve got yet another action packed show in store for you. As well as the usual selection of fresh new tunes, we’re pleased to welcome back the Hubie Loves… feature, where this time we’ll be focusing on the Australian troubadours of tech funk, The Loops Of Fury.

And, as mentioned last week, we’ll also be running a competition where you have the chance to win a signed copy of the uber-limited edition Hybrid remixes album Reappear Here.

This is a heads up for all the Hybrid fans out there. I will be giving away one copy of Hybrid’s limited edition remixes album Reappear Here, exclusively on the next Hubie Sounds show. This album, pressed by Distinctive Records, features remixes of a selection of tracks from the band’s latest album Disappear Here that you can’t find anywhere else on vinyl. And not only is this album limited to a mere 108 pressings (each copy is individually numbered accordingly), it is also signed by the three members of the band so it is a true Hybrid fan and collector’s wet dream!

HUBIE SOUNDS on air this Tuesday!

Alrighty, it’s shaping up to being a busy week here at Hubie Sounds Studios! As well as gearing ourselves up for the inaugural NSB Radio Awards, we’re currently digging out a selection of hot new tunes for the next Hubie Sounds show airing this Tuesday night!
