Yo yo, it’s about time… for another installment of Hubie Sounds! This Thursday night we’ll be kicking it old skool with our Hip Hop and Electro Special, featuring choice cuts by the likes of Grandmaster Flash, Public Enemy, NWA, Beastie Boys, King Bee, Mantronix, Young MC, Sugarhill Gang and many more classic hip hop and electro acts from back in the day… and not one single cheesy explosion sound effect!

That’s right, Hubie Sounds’ pal Dave No Hands has provided us with a cracking new mix, packed full of exclusive mash ups and edits and plenty of bouncy beats for you to shake your booties to this Thursday night!

Our maiden Thursday night voyage is imminent… and to celebrate our Moving House Special we will be presenting to you two hours of moving house music! That’s right, we’ll be spinning some fresh banging house, mostly of the electro-house/warehouse variety, plus one or two house classics, to keep your booties bouncing this Thursday evening! Yes that’s right Hubie Sounds is moving… but don’t worry, we aren’t moving far. In fact we are merely moving backwards, to a new timeslot!
As of next week, Hubie Sounds will no longer be broadcasting on Saturday nights (UK time). Instead we have moved to the brand spanking new midweek timeslot of Thursdays @ 8pm! We are replacing the much loved Midnight Minus 2 broadcast, which has moved to pastures new and we will be on a fortnightly rotation with The Supper Club.
So just a minor change really: different Brap day, but same Brap time, same Brap channel!
Here’s all the info in a nice concise summary stylee…

- Fortnightly Thursdays @ 8pm (UK time)

Hey everyone!
Do you live in or around Brighton? Are you up for an evening of booze-fuelled fun and shenanigans? Are you free this Thursday night? If you have answered ‘yes’ to any of those questions then may I suggest, nay, demand you come down to Riki Tiks this Thursday night for a super duper Brap party!
That’s right, this Thursday night Brap are throwing another of their excellent fortnightly parties at Riki Tiks, with the Drum Monkeys, plus Brap’s own DVNT, Pook and yours truely spinning party tunes til 2am! It’s FREE ENTRY all night so you don’t really have any excuse not to come down and have a boogie! Never mind the hangover at work the next day, we’ll do our best to make it all worth while! 😉
