Hi everyone.
Thanks for tuning in last night. Many apologies for the technical issues at the beginning of the show. I lost about 15 minutes of broadcast time, hence the shorter run time of this podcast, but there’s still loads of exciting tuna, including Rejectbeats‘ set recorded live at last week’s Elite Force Boat Party in all its bass-heavy glory!

** Just a quick warning, I had a few futher issues with the sound at the beginning of this show – it’s starts off quietly but then gets VERY loud for a few seconds – so please make sure your volume is TURNED DOWN at the beginning! Don’t worry, it does revert to a normal volume after a couple of minutes.

Hi gang! Welcome to yet another week of lovely, sweat-inducing summer weather! Blimey it’s been a while since I was last able to say that (was the last time in 1976?)
Well to celebrate this ongoing meteorological phenomena known as ‘summer’, I will be presenting another summer-themed show this Tuesday, with the focus falling on last week’s rather sweaty but excellent Elite Force Boat Party, and the first of three very special DJ sets recorded live in the Bass[sic] room on board the boat! To kick off, this week I will be presenting Bass[sic]‘s lovely resident DJ Rejectbeats‘ set from the boat party, which was chock full of bass music filth and electro, featuring bangers, smashers and destroyers by the likes of Evil Nine, Freakazoids, Plump DJs and loads more!
As well as that, I will be spinning my usual random selection of funky grooves, late night vibes and classics both old and new.

Ez peeps!
As I’m sure a lot of you now know, myself and my good friends at rejectbeats and Big Square Records are launching our new club night, Bass[sic], with Peo de Pitte and The101Connection this Saturday night. And to help promote it, I am dedicating this Tuesday’s Hubie Sounds show to Bass[sic].
