Hello everyone!
Hubie Sounds returns to the internet airwaves this Tuesday night, fresh from a nice, relaxing winter break in New Zealand. And to kick things off for 2011, we’ll be presenting a special kiwi road trip themed mix, filled with plenty of sunny antipodean vibes to warm you up during this chilly time of year.
Of course Hubie will also be spinning plenty of the usual bouncy beats fresh from clubland and beyond, including hot new cuts by the likes of Stanton Warriors, Plaza De Funk, Lee Coombs and loads more!

Happy New Year everyone!
Apologies for being so quiet over the last month or so. We here at Hubie Sounds Studios have been taking a little winter break, but we’re back with some big news for those clubbers amongst you!
This Saturday night, the lovely peeps at Boomslang are throwing another of their cracking parties at their spiritual home, The Junction in Cambridge, with such luminaries as Sub Focus, Jack Beats and Hervé providing the entertainment.
But that’s not all! Our good friends the Reject Beats crew are hosting the upstairs room with an excellent selection of the great and the splarty, including Plaza De Funk, High Eight, Danny Reject Vs Kimpossible and some bloke named Hubie, spinning on the zeroes, ones and twos!

I have yet another night of fun and frivolity to invite you to. This time the lovely lads at Glue are throwing another party at the lovely Horse And Groom in Shoreditch and it’s shaping up to be a cracking night once again!

It’s October – leaves are falling, the nights are drawing in and Halloween it’s just round the corner. But before that Glue’s got its own lineup of raving monsters for you who’ll be terrifying you straight onto the dancefloor!
Headlining is Plaza de Funk, the Italian DJ and producer who you are all sure to know and more a little keen to come see again. He’s been a fixture on the London scene since 2005 and has released a mountain of awesome tunes and played every party that matters not to mention won a Breakspoll award for Best Breakthrough DJ.
Helping Plaza put on the Greatest Party Ever is Hubie who’ll be ending the night with a mass of mighty tunes, Myst who’ll be starting of with a thoughtful tech set and of course Glue resident Bump who, as always, will be doing his very special stuff.

Hey everyone!
Hubie Sounds hits the internet airwaves once again this Tuesday night and this week we’ve got a very tasty guest mix from the Burmese son of wobble, Sai. He’s put together a mix chock full of wobbly basslines, dubby riddims and filthy beats which we guarantee you’ll love.
Here’s some info about Sai…
Starting out producing hip-hop on an MPC, Sai decided to concentrate on mixing when moving to London from Burma, adding dubstep and breakbeat to his repertoire and even spitting lyrics in Burmese for hip-hop group Vokal as part of his musical apprenticeship. Now rocketing to fame in London’s alternative electronic scene, recently coming 3rd in the Eastpak soundclash, he has also won the Mad DJ Comp in Nov 2009. Sai’s versatility and musical intelligence has paved the way for his on-going success. With the ability to hold down crowd rocking sets wherever he plays, from party vibe hip hop to the most gut wrenching dubstep and bassline you can dare to imagine with all the ear carnage in between. All mixed to perfection and done with bags of charisma makes him an instant fan favourite all over town and further afield!
Holding residency at london’s breakbeat stalwarts SUPATRONIX and Door. Promotions eclectic cross-genre night Never Grow Up. Also rolling with the likes of Rokit Science, Your Mum and Trouble Vision he has been booked alongside some of raves leading lights including; Pendulum, Chase & Status, Eddy TM, General Midi , Calvertron, Rennie Pilgrem, Slyde, Freestylers. Utah Saint, Elite Force, Rico Tubbs, A1 Bassline, Bass Weazal, South Rakkas Crew, Toddla T, Baobinga, Raffertie, Plastician, Reso, Brackles, Deekline & Wizard, SOTO, Plaza de Funk, 2 Bit Thugs and more.
