Tonight on NSB Radio I’m celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the release of The Chemical Brothers‘ seminal second studio album Dig Your Own Hole – arguably one of the greatest dance music albums of all time and a firm favourite here at Hubie Sounds Studios.
On this show you can expect to hear a selection of top tracks from the album, as well as music with a Chemical flavour from that era, plus tracks that have influenced, and have been influenced by, the duo over the years. So you can rest assured there will be block rockin’ beats and psychedelic funkin’ aplenty 😉

Alrighty, it’s time for another Hubie Sounds and this week I’ll be getting funkier than a pair of your favourite disco pants.
As well as the usual selection of dirty house, breaks and bass music, I’ll be presenting a DJ set recorded live in the Bass[sic] room at last week’s funktacular Rockit Science 6th Birthday Party, which took place at The Big Chill House here in London. You can expect to hear plenty of funk, hip hop, electro and deep house that should warm you up good and proper for the week ahead.

Morning gang.
Hubie Sounds hits the NSB Radio interweb airwaves this Tuesday with a Focus On the enigmatic clown prince of techno, Green Velvet, aka Cajmere, aka Geo Vogt, aka many other monikers (or Curtis Jones, to his mum).
Ahead of his rare UK appearance at Bugged Out later this week, I will be spinning a selection of my favourite Green Velvet/Cajmere tunes, featuring stone cold classics such as La La Land and Percolator, as well as some of Jones’ more recent output.
I will also be spinning my usual eclectic selection of hip hop, funk, breaks and house.

This Tuesday night we’ll be presenting a special bonus edition of Hubie Sounds that we have cunningly titled Hubie Sounds Extra! It will be fairly similar to the usual Hubie Sounds, but with a bit more of an eclectic feel, so expect to hear music old and new, from right across the musical spectrum – breaks, house, hip hop, electro, funk, bluegrass, rockabilly… you name it, we’ll probably spin it!
