Hubie Sounds 100th Show On NSB Radio

Hi everyone,

Tonight I’m celebrating my 100th Hubie Sounds on NSB Radio with a very special show featuring not one, not two, not three, not even four, but FIVE exclusive guest mixes for your lovely ears! And they’re all absolute belters by five of my favourite DJs…

Top of the bill is a cracking mash up mix of bonafide breakbeat classics, including plenty of your favourites from down the years, by Ghetto Funk‘s king of the beats Pimpsoul.

I’m honoured to present a return to the NSB Radio airwaves for the Higheels Sessions‘ legendary lothario Mjoogoo, with a mix of classic house and techno bangers.

I’ve also got a beautiful, disco-infused breaks and house session from Rockit Science‘s main man DJ Ryu that’s guaranteed to fulfill all your funky needs.

My fourth guest is my good mate and Bank of Switches head honcho Big Nick D with a fantastic electro workout that should get all of your bodies popping.

And last but by no means least is the one and only Funkbudha, who has the honour of being the first ever guest on a Hubie Sounds show, way back in the Brap FM days, with a filthy mix jam packed with fresh, ripe jungle beats.

I’ll also see if I can squeeze in a tune or two of my own! There’s definitely going to be plenty of variety for your lovely ears.

saturday = party time

Hi gang!

This Saturday Bass[sic] returns to the rave cave basement at The Cornershop in Shoreditch and we’re getting very excited!

This Saturday 26th of May our special guests Beat Assassins and Mjoogoo will be tearing up the decks with their unique mixture of bouncy beats and bass and our residents rejectbeats, Big Nick D and Hubie will be ably supporting with an expert selection of hip hop, house, electro and breaks for your lovely ears.

Of course entry to the party is FREE all night. Kick off is at 8pm – we recommend you get down there nice and early cos it’s bound to get very busy and we don’t want you to miss out on all the fun!

The Bass[sic] Special returns to Hubie Sounds this Tuesday night and this time around I’ll be joined in the studio by the legendary Italian stallion Mjoogoo! Yes that’s right, to celebrate this Saturday’s Bass[sic] party in Shoreditch, headlined by Beat Assassins and Mjoogoo, the latter will be spinning some sexy grooves live in the studio for your lovely ears.
