Hey everyone.
After two and a half very fun years I’ve decided it’s time for Hubie Sounds to move on from Brap FM. I definitely believe I am leaving the station at a good time, there seems to be loads of new talent signing up all the time and the standard of talent has never been as impressively high as it is right now, so I doubt Brap will miss me too much!
In the meantime, I’ll be presenting my last Hubie Sounds on Brap FM this Thursday night @ 8pm UK time, so I hope you all can tune in and join me for one last hurrah!
Since it’s going to be a special show, I’m gonna spin a selection of my favourite tunes of the last two and a half years, plus I will be playing a classic Hubie Mix that I’m sure you’re all going to love š

Hey kids, it’s time for another edition of Hubie Sounds and, like last time, we’ll be high-kicking back in time to a classic era once more. This week we’ll be trading our oversized hip hop pocketwatches and skiploads of bling for velour flairs, svelt afros and more soul than your local fish and chippy! That’s right, this week we’re gonna be presenting the Hubie Sounds Funk and Soul Special!
We’ll be spinning some absolute classics by the likes of Bootsy Collins, Kool & The Gang, Al Green, The Jimmy Castor Bunch and of course the godfather of soul himself, Mr James Brown.
But regular listeners and fans of more uptempo grooves, fear not! In the second half of the show we will also be spinning the usual share of fresh new tuna by Jack Beats, Dub Pistols, NAPT, Splitloop and General MIDI and many more.
