G’day everyone.
This week on NSB Radio I’m honouring the spirit of ANZAC Day, which occurred yesterday on 25th April, when we commemorate the New Zealand and Australian men and women of wars gone by.
Don’t worry, I’m not going to be dedicating the show to some sort of jingoistic chest beating or anything too serious, instead I’m going to use this time of remembrance as a fine excuse to celebrate the great music from these two countries.
So you can expect to hear plenty of funky, dubtastic grooves from New Zealand as well as some quality house, breaks and electro from Australia, featuring artists as diverse as Freq Nasty, Flume, Pitch Black, Pendulum, Connan Mockasin, Tame Impala and loads more. It’s certainly going to be an eclectic show!
I will also be honouring and celebrating the dearly departed Prince, with a selection of tunes from his incredible back catalogue.

Word up peeps!
Firstly I’d just like to quickly thank all of you who came down to the Lockside Lounge for the Rockit Science partay on Friday, it was a cracking night full to the brim with happy party people and we were glad to see so many smiling faces.
Anyhoo, yes it’s time for another Hubie Sounds show on NSB Radio! This Tuesday night we’ll be celebrating the release of Beardyman‘s excellent debut long player ‘I Done A Album’ by spinning a selection of tracks from the album, as well as the usual mixture of club bangers and funky classics. Happy New Year everyone!
Apologies for being so quiet over the last month or so. We here at Hubie Sounds Studios have been taking a little winter break, but we’re back with some big news for those clubbers amongst you!
This Saturday night, the lovely peeps at Boomslang are throwing another of their cracking parties at their spiritual home, The Junction in Cambridge, with such luminaries as Sub Focus, Jack Beats and Hervé providing the entertainment.
