Hi everyone.

Firstly I’d just like to congratulate my NSB Radio brethren and sisthren for another excellent Breakspoll win for Best Radio Station! That’s five on the bounce now, big ups everyone! And extra special big ups to everyone who voted for us, we really appreciate your support.

Now onto more a pressing matter, that of the next Hubie Sounds show! This Tuesday night I will be focusing on breakbeat classics of yesteryear by dusting off some classic tunes from 2007 in my third Breakbeat Classics Showcase! Expect to hear breaks anthems by the likes of Drumattic Twins, Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors and Baobinga & I.D. amongst many others! And for all the hipsters out there, don’t worry, it won’t be a wall-to-wall nostalgia fest, I’ll do my best to squeeze in some fresher beats too.

Hey y’all!

The first Hubie Sounds of 2012 airs this Tuesday night and I thought, in order to help chase away the January blues, I’d fill the show with funky beats and warm, soulful vibes. So yeah, ‘why not do a funk & soul special?’ I thought to myself. I haven’t done one for a long time so another one is well overdue really, I’m sure you’d agree!

I know I’m a bit late on this, I’ve only just recovered from the Breakspoll double-header at Fabric and Matter last week! But now that I’ve fully recovered my cognitive capabilities (well, enough to type with one finger anyway), I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the Breakspoll 2010 winners (the details of which are listed below).
