Hi gang.
I’ve got a lot of cool stuff to cover in this week’s show on NSB Radio. First up I’ve got an exclusive guest mix from my good friend and head honcho of Bank of Switches, Big Nick D, who is promoting his latest party here in London, this time teaming up with the legendary Meat Katie at Cafe 1001 this coming weekend. You can check out more details about this party right here.
Also on this show I’m paying tribute to two legendary institutions of the British electronic music scene: the first of which is the recently closed-down Fabric nightclub. I’ll be paying tribute with a selection of tunes that evoke great memories of The Big Disco.
The second tribute is to Fatboy Slim, who hasn’t closed down, I’m pleased to say. On the contrary, Norman Cook is still rocking parties worldwide and this month he is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of his debut album (as Fatboy), Better Living Through Chemistry. And to help celebrate I will be spinning one or two big tunes from this seminal album.
Hubie Sounds 115 – Tuesday 13th September @ 9pm BST – live and direct on NSB Radio!
