Here’s a clip of the new single from The Chemical Brothers, titled Swoon, which is out on iTunes on the 9th May.

Immediately hailed by Zane Lowe as ‘the hottest record in the world right now’, Swoon is the latest addition to the more emotional, balearic side of the Chems’ repertoire, alongside the likes of Surface To Air, Saturate and Asleep From Day, but still with a hint of dancefloor-friendly drums and a twist of acid. It’s obviously not as epic and banging as the previous album teaser Escape Velocity, but rather tasty nonetheless.

Swoon precedes the release of the Chemical Brothers’ seventh studio album Further, which is out in early June. It’s fair to say that on this evidence, this Chems fan is getting rather bollock-tighteningly excited 🙂
