Big Nick D first appeared on planet Earth in the late 1970’s & got into music not long after. He enjoys beer, cricket & dance music of most genres. In the past he has been a resident DJ at The Rhythm Factory & Broken House, had guest mixes on Ministry Of Sound Radio, Breaks FM & NSB Radio among others. As well as playing tunes from across the breakbeat spectrum Nick has been known to dabble in a bit of production.
Nick founded Big Square Records in 2003, a small breakbeat label that pushes a more leftfield breaks sound that’s released tunes by Merka, Ben & Lex, M.I. Loki, LBJ, High Eight, Break The Box, Curl & Dean, Hektagon & more.
