Ok after much ado, the Bass[sic] team are proud to announce the long-awaited (!) Bass[sic] Launch Night!

That’s right, the team have found an excellent venue in The Cornershop, in the heart of Shoreditch, London, complete with a Function 1 soundsystem and loads of drinks specials and nice food, there’s something for everyone!

Hiya peeps

I just wanted to give you a quick heads up about a new club night that’s kicking off here in Olde London Towne. It’s called Bass[sic] and is run by myself and my chums Big Nick D, Danny Reject and Kimpossible. The grand Bass[sic] launch night will be taking place at an excellent new venue in the heart of trendy Shoreditch on the 12th of November, with some top talent DJing on the ones and twos – mark it in your diaries now cos it’s gonna be a cracking night!

audio splendour in aid of oxjam

Hey, just another quick post from me, this time about Audio Splendour, which is taking place this Saturday night as part of the Oxjam Music Festival, fundraising on behalf of Oxfam.

Audio Splendour is taking place at the Raving Buddha in Shepherds Bush, London, and is hosting a huge lineup of DJing talent, including RackNRuin, The Living Graham Bond, Gella and many more! Loads of musical entertainment and it only costs a fiver on the door, how could you possibly resist! We hope you can come down and lend your support for a good cause.

weekend partytime double-whammy

Hi kids!

This weekend I have the honour of playing at two diferent parties and I’d like to invite all of you along! They’re slightly different affairs, but the one thing they both have in common is they will both be rockin’!

First up on Friday night is the Rockit Science ‘Space Disco’ Launch Party @ The Star Of Kings in Kings Cross.

It’s always a pleasure to play for the lovely lads at Glue and I am honoured to be playing the peaktime set this time around, along with usual suspects Hell Yeah, Bump and special guests Tribal Riot. You can expect a selection of banging tunes and party classics, so don’t wear yourselves out too much the night before cos this is gonna be a long night of fun and boogying!

This party is due to hit the Lockside Lounge in Camden, London, on the 20th of May, where you can expect to hear a host of fine DeeJays spinning a selection of classic b-boy anthems, funk, disco, hip hop, electro, big beat and breaks to keep your booties bouncing ’til the wee small hours.

As some of you are probably already aware, the spamfest that traditionally precedes the Breakspoll Awards season is in full swing! Now, I don’t really want to fan this already out of control brush fire with more vote pandering, so instead I just wanted to make those of you who haven’t a clue what I’m jabbering about aware of what will most probably be an excellent party hosted by the creme de la creme of breakbeat talent.

Apologies for being so quiet over the last month or so. We here at Hubie Sounds Studios have been taking a little winter break, but we’re back with some big news for those clubbers amongst you!
